PVH rents complete campus in the Houthavens
PVH Europe will enter two other creative buildings in Houthavens in 2018. On June 1st 2016, the main building at the Danzigerkade already developed by Heren2, will be taken in to use. This 13,000 sqm building designed by MVSA Architects, is 12 stories high and is a landmark along the IJ.Two more buildings will be added of which 4,500 sqm will be low-rise and 11,700 sqm high-rise. All the companies that are part of PVH Europe, including Calvin Klein and Tommy Hilfiger, will be merged in a campus-like layout. MVSA Architects is also involved as the architect of the new buildings.
The PVH Campus offers a special three-in-one concept. MVSA Architects has designed three buildings that belong together, but each has been given an individual identity. The Danzigerkade 150, which is almost completed, contains twelve stories consisting of offices, showrooms, a restaurant and a rooftop terrace. The Danzigerkade 125 is a four-storey complex with an atrium and various green rooftop terraces. The third building, Danzigerkade 95, is the final part and consists of ten stories of office space and a sky lounge that offers spectacular views over the campus and the city. Amenities such as a parking garage, the restaurant and outdoor spaces, will be shared by the users of the three complexes. The new campus offers the customer a high quality of living and working areas, for both their employees, customers and visitors.Heren2 is responsible for the redevelopment of the Houthavens. The company mainly focuses on the banks of the IJ of Amsterdam. The transformation of the new Houthavens around the Minervahaven is a good example hereof. In addition to these developments, plans are being made to transform the Oranjewerf North to a residential area.
